Rules for this website and the contractual boundaries of the 170tarv managed evidence service.

Website and customer agreements

The public website provides product information and a way to request a demonstration or proposal. Browsing or submitting an enquiry does not activate a subscription, create a service guarantee or authorise payment. A signed order form, managed service agreement and applicable data processing terms establish the customer service. Those documents take precedence over general website descriptions where they address the same subject.

Core and Blackbox

170tarv offers two subscription plans: Core and Blackbox. Proposals are denominated in GBP. Contracts are annual, with payment monthly, quarterly or annually as agreed in writing. A payment schedule does not turn an annual contract into a month-to-month service. Scope, tax treatment, payment dates, renewal, notice and cancellation obligations are set in the signed agreement.

Paid pilots require a separate written scope and duration. Any credit towards the first annual contract after conversion must be expressly approved and recorded in the proposal or order form. Discounts and commercial exceptions are managed by 170tarv. There is no automatic pilot credit, public fixed price or customer self-service plan change implied by this website.

Authorised use

Use the service only for environments and data you are authorised to connect and process. Your organisation must provide lawful instructions and obtain any necessary source-system permissions. Do not attempt unauthorised access, cross-tenant access, credential harvesting, deliberate service disruption, malicious uploads or bypassing commercial or security controls. Operational safeguards protect infrastructure and are distinct from usage-based pricing.

Integration and operation boundaries

Connections use least-privilege vendor APIs; 170tarv is not installed inside customer infrastructure. Scheduled read-only ingestion is the default. Availability depends on vendor access, permissions, credentials, rate limits and upstream service health. Customers may approve vendor consent and review connection health. 170tarv controls catalogue definitions, activation, scope, connector operations and platform-held credentials.

Evidence and human decisions

Customers retain their rights in supplied data and evidence. Contractual permission allows 170tarv to process that information to deliver the agreed service. Raw capture, provenance, separate normalised records and export verification support reconstruction. Cryptography demonstrates preservation after capture; it does not certify upstream accuracy, completeness or legal admissibility. Incident, compliance and reporting decisions remain the responsibility of authorised people. AI-assisted output requires review and must not replace source evidence.

Billing and access

Stripe supports payment processing and billing records. Product access is determined by server-side tenant membership, roles, release state and internal entitlements. Billing discrepancies are reviewed through internal operations. Failed payments, suspension, exceptions and termination are governed by the signed agreement and applicable law; this website does not grant staff unrestricted access to customer evidence.

Confidentiality and data protection

Confidentiality, subprocessor approvals, transfer safeguards, retention, deletion, backup expiry, support access and breach notification obligations must be set out in the signed service and data processing agreements. Do not submit confidential evidence, secrets or personal incident data through public enquiry forms.

Intellectual property and website content

170tarv branding, software and original website materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Customer evidence ownership is separate from platform ownership. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners; references do not imply endorsement. You may link to public pages and quote limited material with attribution, subject to applicable law. Discovery files do not grant a software, trademark or customer-data licence.

Liability, disputes and service commitments

Service levels, warranties, liability limits, indemnities, termination rights and governing law must be agreed in the signed contract. This public page does not invent a service-level commitment or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contracting entity details and legal jurisdiction require confirmation before commercial publication.

Contact and updates

Use the contact page for a business or legal enquiry and request private follow-up. These terms are versioned. Material changes to an existing customer contract require the applicable contractual process.
